The meeting of the WiB group leaders took place on 29 March 2023 in the elegant ballroom of the Titanic Gendarmenmarkt Berlin, just around the corner from the Federal Foreign Office. After a brief welcome speech by the WIB President, Christine Hatakka and a round of introductions, the Group Coordinator, Karla Steinert-Thys carried on with the program and showed a slide presentation which consisted of some technical hints to facilitate the organization of the group activities and the results of the survey conducted among the WiB active members.

Many topics and ideas were discussed in a lively athmosphere. Since the election of the new Presidium is due in June 2023, the active members were asked to provide their input for the preparation of the next Annual General Meeting. At the end of the successful event, the conversations continued over over tea, coffee and light snacks.
