On 24 February 2026, more than 50 WiB members, together with Dr. Irene Ernst of Diplomatisches Magazine, gathered at the Capital Club for an AI event featuring Mr. Schibalsky from Network Assistance. The event set out to highlight the the visibility and significance of AI in diplomacy, as well as its evolving role. It marked an excellent starting point for engaging with this broad and complex topic.

Participants from diverse backgrounds raised a wide range of questions and valued Mr. Schibalsky’s openness, the variety of perspectives and the open exchange. These insights provide a strong foundation for more targeted follow-up initiatives. The discussions and contributions were both stimulating and inspiring.
