EUREF Campus Berlin: Innovation and Sustainability in Focus
As part of a club event, WiB visited the EUREF Campus in Berlin-Schöneberg, the largest urban district of its kind on 8 May 2026. The area surrounding the former gasometer serves as a model district for a climate-neutral and resource-efficient city. Businesses, researchers, and scientists collaborate here on forward-looking projects.
The sight of the iconic gasometer impressed the members immediately as they saw the towering 78-meter listed building. After a warm welcome, an inspiring guided tour followed, during which the members viewed the state-of-the-art charging stations and explored the iconic gasometer, home to a modern conference center and a spectacular 360-degree rooftop terrace, where the members had a cosy get-together while enjoying the delicious light snacks and beverages on the rooftop terrace.

We would like to thank Mr. Reinhard Müller, Ms. Karin Teichmann, and Ms. Susann Steinke for making this very special day possible for us.
