Born in Indonesia to a diplomat and politician father, Nita was exposed to international environment from an early age. This upbringing has nurtured her curiosity and instilled a deep appreciation for diverse cultures in her. She pursued studies in Interior Design abroad and had the privilege of working with various international companies. 

While accompanying her German-American husband on his professional assignments across three continents, Nita has continued to embrace intercultural understanding. She finds joy in discovering culture through its expressions - be it Argentinian tango and Cuban salsa, as well as the meditative discipline of Tai Chi. Her adult daughter lives in the United States. 

Berlin has been Nita’s steady base since 2010. Since then, she has been actively involved in Willkommen in Berlin, including serving three full terms on the club’s board, in line with her parents' motto: “Life is a dedication”. She is honored to return to the club’s board and looks forward to continuing this enriching journey with the same commitment and enthusiasm.
