Rummelsburger Bucht

The Architecture group picked a pleasant summer day on 20 June 2018 for their last walking tour of the club year. The members explored Rummerlsburger Bucht in the East of the city and discovered many historical traces from the early days which were transformed into a modern living area.

Once a palm kernel oil storage facility, a workhouse of former orphanage and later on a prison were restored and underwent extensive renovation over the years and now become  an attractive water city with young inhabitants.

The members had lunch on the deck of the bustling kitchen on the harbor while exchanging ideas. Everyone was looking forward to the next excursion in October 2018.
