At the State Representation of Schleswig Holstein
On 18 February 2016, State Secretary Mr. Ralph Müller- Beck invited the members of our group to the Representation of this state, the most northern German State, Schleswig- Holstein. Our luncheon which was comprised of regional culinary delicacies, was graced with touristic and cultural information about the region.
The Hanseatic City of Lübeck, the second largest in Schleswig- Holstein, was in the special focus of our host. Of course Lübeck´s sweet culinary speciality, the "Lübecker Marzipan" was sampled by our guests. The narrations of Dr. Jörg Rosenfeld, curator of the St. Annen Museum, and tourism expert Christian Martin Lukas, encouraged us to travel to Lübeck. They related in great detail about Lübeck´s lifestyle and coffee culture. Travel reports from the 15th throughout the 19th century were especially captivating and an image movie revealed gorgeous impressions of this state that is located between both oceans; the Baltic and the North Sea.
