Explore Berlin through literature with Pascale Hugues
French journalist Pascale Hugues wrote an intriguing book on a typical Berlin street from the beginning of the 20th century until today, titled “Hannah’s Dress”. On 24 April 2017, "Discover Berlin and Surroundings through Literature" group had a lively discussion about the street’s former bourgeois and its grandeur, the severe damage it suffered during WW II, the reconstruction and today’s gentrification.
An informative walking tour through the Bayerisches Viertel neighborhood on 10 May 2017 complemented the event.
