Hors-Saison/Zwischen uns das Leben

On April 24th, members of the cinema group gathered to watch the Berlin premiere of the French film "Hors-Saison/Zwischen uns das Leben" at Cinema Paris in the original version with German subtitles. 

Alba Rohrwacher and Guillaume Canet play a couple who meet again after many years of separation. Their meeting triggers a journey of self-reflection and rediscovery of their relationship as they try to come to terms with past decisions and losses. The plot unfolded against the enchanting backdrop of Brittany, where hotels with closed shutters created a special atmosphere to match the action. 

The film, with its poignant story and some ironic moments about love, loss and human connections, touched us deeply and we were very impressed by the acting performances and impressive directing of the film. After the screening, there was a Q&A with the director Stéphane Brizé, where we had the opportunity to learn more about the making of the film.
