On the occasion of the upcoming ALFILM - Arab Film Festival Berlin, Reem al Sharrah, the wife of the Ambassador of Kuwait and May Erbel, the group leader of  the “Arab-German Cultural Exchange” group invited the WiB members to a special event at the residence of Kuwait on 18 March 2022. Dr. Pascale Fakhry, the artistic director of the festival gave a presentation titled: "Introduction of ALFILM - Arab Film Festival Berlin: a short historical overview followed by a presentation of the 13th ALFILM edition”. The 13th ALFILM will take place from 20-26 April 2022.

The event was attended by ladies of the diplomatic corps, cultural and media societies in Berlin, and was concluded with a sumptuous lunch depicting the famous Kuwaiti hospitality.
