visit to the new Polish embassy Unter den Linden

At the invitation of the Polish ambassador Jan Tombinski, the members of “Welcome to Berlin” (WiB) enjoyed a wonderful evening in the rooms of the new Polish embassy in Berlin. A warm welcome from the ambassador was followed by an introduction to the architecture of the building and then a guided tour of the impressive, modern building. The guests were captivated by the wonderful roof terrace with garden, including beautiful plants and flowers, and the magnificent view.

Another highlight of the meeting was the panel discussion with fashion artist Dawid Tomaszewski, who gave our members a good impression of the creativity and imaginative, bold style of Polish designers. The evening was rounded off with delicious snacks and refreshments. The warm atmosphere also led to a lively exchange between our members and those of the group of military attaché partners who were also present.

It was a wonderful and informative evening that helped to strengthen relations and understanding between Poland and Germany. We were therefore also very grateful to the head of the consular department, Ms. Kepowicz, and the press officer, Ms. Szuber-Zasacka, for the excellent organization.
