H.E. Dr. Nurlan Onzhanov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and his spouse, Rita Onzhanova, kindly invited the members of the Embassies and Residences group to a special gathering on 15 April 2026. Through a brief presentations, we were introduced to the rich culture and traditions of Kazakhstan, complemented by delightful musical and dance performances by young artists.

Rita Onzhanova personally guided us through the new section of the Embassy, notable for its architecture inspired by the traditional yurt. She then led us into a beautifully crafted yurt in the garden, surrounded by tulips in full bloom—the national flower of Kazakhstan.

The event was a warm reflection of the renowned hospitality and cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, and concluded with a generous buffet featuring a variety of local delicacies.
