Fittingly for the chosen topic of "Heritage", English Conversation Group met in the Kurienhaus, the over 500 year-old home of Gladys in Luckau on 13 May 2026. Sipping tea from bone china cups hand-decorated over 200 years ago, we exchanged heritage stories that ranged from listed buildings to bridal bangles, heirloom recipes to regional cuisine.

The gathering ended with a visit to Luckau's magnificent Nikolaikirche, home to an over 350 year-old working organ.
