On 1 March 2022 the WiB members had the opportunity to see the successful musical "Ku'damm 56". 60 members responded to the generous invitation of composer Peter Plate and lyricist Ulf Leo Sommer. The long-established Theater des Westens celebrated its reopening in November 2021 with the premiere of the musical after the closure due to the pandemic.

In 2016, ZDF had broadcast a television trilogy about Galant, a family-owned dance school in Kurfürstendamm, run by Caterina Schellack, a strict and socially conservative single mother of three daughters. The play tells a story of conflicting generations during the post-war Berlin in 1957, and portrays the rebellion and the women emancipation. The author of the successful television production, Annette Hess, together with Peter Plate, Ulf Leo Sommer and director Christoph Drewitz, have developed this wonderful musical theater. Once tragic, comical and yet hopeful. The cast is outstanding, the soloists are musically and theatrically brilliant, and the accompanying band is first-rate.

The WiB members and the entire audience of the almost sold-out theater were carried away by the special performance. Due to its great success, the production will run until September 2022.
