A Cultural Escape to Prague

13 members of the Classical Music, Opera, and Ballet group embarked on a culturally enriching journey to Prague from 30 March to 2 April 2026. The experience began with an evening performance of Rusalka by Antonín Dvořák at the iconic Národní divadlo (National Theatre). This magnificent Neo-Renaissance theatre, largely funded through public donations, stands as a proud symbol of Czech national identity and artistic heritage.

The following day, the group members explored Prague’s historic centre on a guided tour, admiring its remarkable architecture and rich historical layers while gaining deeper insight into the city’s cultural legacy. The day concluded on another artistic highlight: a performance of Carmen by Georges Bizet.

The trip to Prague was more than a cultural excursion; it was a shared celebration of music, history, and the joy of experiencing art together.
