Tchaikovsky´s Queen of Spades

On May 24th, 2025 the WiB Opera group went to Leipzig to see “Queen of Spades”. For many, it was their first time seeing it live - a bold and visually impressive production that provided plenty to talk about.

The orchestra under Anna Skryleva was great, the overall performance very convincing. We were really fascinated by the stage design — very atmospheric and visually striking. What was particularly nice was that we were able to talk to the conductor and some of the artists in the theater restaurant after the performance.

An all-round successful evening - and we were also very impressed by Leipzig!
