On March 1st, 2025, 18 WiB members went on a weekend trip to Magdeburg, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt, to see the last performance of the opera ‘Turandot’. The city presented itself with winter sunshine and enticed us to take a walk to the city's sights. The sold-out performance impressed us with the richness of the orchestra and soloists, the imaginative stage design and the captivating dramaturgy.

After the performance we went to an Italian restaurant where we were accompanied by the orchestra conductor, general music director Anna Skryleva and the soloists of the opera and the orchestra. The evening was wonderful and will remain unforgettable.
