The word Mahjong (麻将) literally translates as “sparrow.” While its roots can be traced to older Chinese traditions, the game in its modern form emerged in 19th-century China as an evolution of earlier tile-based games. In this session, members will play using a contemporary and simplified format.
The group is designed as a space for connection and exchange, encouraging social interaction, stimulating memory, and engaging strategic thinking - all within a friendly, relaxed, and non-competitive atmosphere.
