Visit to the state representation Baden-Württemberg

On the afternoon of March 21st, 2025, our WiB-group was welcomed to the State Representation Baden-Württemberg by Minister of State Rudi Hoogvliet, who introduced us to the state in terms of its particular importance as a business location.

Baden-Württemberg is the third largest federal state - next to Hamburg, the only one that no longer has any structurally weak areas and is one of Europe's strongest economic regions. The focus is on transformation, the development of future technology, particularly with regard to AI, healthcare and quantum research. There is now a so-called Cyber Valley near Tübingen and a corresponding collaboration with California.

However, the transformation also includes the development of conventional economic sectors, in particular the local automotive industry: Baden-Württemberg is the only federal state in which there is a charging station for electric cars every 10 kilometres. 

And - to the culinary delight of all participants - there is still the very traditional Black Forest gateau!
