Asparagus Farm in Schäpe

Our last cycle tour before the summer break on 14 June 2025 took us from Potsdam S-Bahn station through the city of Potsdam in gorgeous summer weather, with Friedrich-Carl providing interesting explanations about each sights along the way. We continued our ride through beautiful countryside, passing Lake Templin and Lake Schwielowsee, cycling through Caputh and Ferch via Beelitz to the Jakobs asparagus farm in Schäpe. There, we enjoyed some well-earned asparagus in the shade of the farm’s terrace, followed by a stop at a an ice cream parlour.
