On 28 March 2026, members of the Walking group enjoyed a lively 6 km route through Tiergarten in full spring bloom, guided by two cheerful group leaders who brought the 500-year-old park to life by highlighting its most interesting spots and sharing engaging background stories about their history and significance.

After approximately two pleasant hours, the members returned to the historic, popular beer garden “Schleusenkrug”, where they learned about Berlin’s distinctive East–West history. At one point, the former border even ran directly through the building, dividing it between floors. The walk ended with a relaxed gathering at the beer garten and  thoughtful conversations.
