On 16 January 2023, the members of the Unknown Berlin and Cinema groups gained understanding of the connections between architecture and the movies of the twenties and the thirties during an extensive guided tour through Deutsche Kinemathek - Museum for Film und Television. The film aesthetics of the Nazis and the reactions of the American studios were also impressively illustrated. Finally, the members learned the interesting details about the life and work of Marlene Dietrich amidst the magnificent collection of costumes. The informative and enjoyable morning came to an end with a comparison between the post-war West and East German cinema.
