What a perfect venue for the first WIB Summer Party after the pandemic! Clear blue sky, midsummer temperature, lush green parkland on Reihenwerder peninsula with the beautiful view of Lake Tegel - this was the atmosphere of the elegant, historic Villa Borsig. The WiB members had a glass of champagne from our generous sponsor, Helia Supply System and many of them wore colorful stylish summer hats.

The Jazz Duo “Wood and Strings”: Peter Nickel on piano and Sven Hinse on contrabass enlivened the club special event with their lively classic Jazz from the 50’s and 60’s while the members enjoyed the sumptuous buffet and each other’s company. During this kind of club events and group activities, new friendships often flourish.

The summer party marked the end of the presidium of Christine Hatakka and her team. The club members bade goodbye to each other before parting for the summer break. The memory of a wonderful summer party will remain and the members are looking forward to the new club year. See you all again at the opening day of the new club year in September!
